Bosch E92/-01 means the water pressure is low or the filters in the water inlet are blocked. The code gives two branches: a household supply condition and a washer-inlet maintenance condition.
Check the Supply First
Confirm the required water taps are fully open and that other fixtures have normal flow. Look for a kinked or pinched inlet hose behind the washer. A household pressure problem cannot be repaired by resetting the appliance.
Clean Inlet Filters Only as Directed
- Turn off the washer and close the water taps.
- Disconnect power.
- Relieve hose pressure carefully and place a towel for residual water.
- Follow the E-Nr-specific manual to access and clean the inlet strainers.
- Reconnect hoses, open the taps slowly, and check every coupling for leaks.
Do not puncture a screen, run the washer without a filter, or use a sharp tool that can damage the mesh.
What the Result Tells You
Debris on the strainers supports a restricted-inlet explanation. Clean screens with poor flow at other fixtures point back to household plumbing or pressure. Clean screens and normal supply with a recurring code require service-level diagnosis of the inlet system.
When to Stop
Replace a damaged hose rather than straightening a cracked or bulging section. Request service if E92/-01 returns, the valve leaks, or the manual does not identify the filter as user-accessible. Do not open the washer cabinet to test the valve electrically.
Compare hot and cold flow only through normal household fixtures; do not disconnect a pressurized hose for an improvised test. If one side is consistently weak, tell the plumber or Bosch support which inlet is affected.
